For Lauren...

I am updating the blog, finally, and this would not have been made possible without Lauren's, um, encouragement.

As for what's up with us... I am so busy I can't even think straight, which comes in handy while you're in law school, so I have been neglectful of the blog. Dale said he was going to keep up with it for me, and he did for a week or two, but that fizzled out.

I wish I could write more, but I am actually doing this now, from school.

We're all healthy and happy and hope to continue on this way.

I can't wait for the holidays too!  I have a one month break between school in Dec/Jan, so I will try and update a ton during that period.  For now, please to enjoy....

p.s. Nana and Grandpa David, I dont have pictures of you on my camera, they're either on Dale's or on my phone. This is why you guys are missing from here.

p.p.s. Lauren, I don't have any news one of you with the chubster, so that's why I didn't post any.

Isnt't that cute and sanitary?

Grandpa Tom at my Grandparents' house visiting with Camille and Candy & Fam.

One of Grandmamam's favorite necklaces to play with.
This one, in particular,  is almost made up entirely of perfectly sized choking pieces.Sigh.

Candi, Camille and the Flying Baby.

Halloween 2010. Bryn's going as the coolest kid ever. I'm going as tired.
(And by "going", I meant to the living room.)

She was laughing soooooo hard. I am so happy I got this picture at this second. I love it! And Bryn loves Cindy.

And, Bryn and Dale's Halloween shot. She was dressed up at daycare and had pictures taken of her there.
Parents.
Of.
The.
Year.

I love this picture for a few reasons, but mostly b/c I feel like I'm looking at my mom and me (or Ann or Jeni) 30 years ago. Not coincidentally, my Mom is the one who gave me that night gown/robe thingy.

Chillaxing with Grandpa Tom, rocking the RUN DMC shirt with the faux gold chain. That's how she rolls.

Who's there? Jack, what's the password?

When David repurposed our cabinets, he left this space open for us to put our recycling in. It's sooooooo convenient, except when you let your child roam free and one of her most favoritest things are plastic bottles. So, I move the container in another room if there are a decent amount of items in it, and guess who found it's the perfect size for her?

"Ooooh, I love it, love it, love it! Best alcove ever!

We* are running out of room at an alarming pace, so I decided to "purge" Bryn's clothes she can no longer fit into (Anything smaller than 24 mos. She can still be squeezed into some larger 18 month clothes, but for the most part, she's in 2 and 3T).
Being that she's of favorable size, and went through 3 years worth of clothes in her almost-11-month career of fashion, "]we" had a ton of stuff to go through and get rid of. She could not wait to help when she got up from her nap. Help her *hubby self to the boxes. I guess we can call this her "feline" stage (curling up in cramped spaces).

*We means me, naturally.

In the box.  Out of box.

Pictures as Promised (Too many to put a funny quip under each)

I've been getting crafty lately. Anything besides studying.

Pardon my feet.

She is quite fond of him.

Chillin'.

Where to Begin....

Well, a lot has been going on and a lot is going on in the near future (and the latter is the understatement of the year). I mean, I've been so busy I haven't been keeping up with new TV! I didn't even know shows were starting back up again! This is coming from a girl that gets so excited about Fall Premiers that she has made a spreadsheet of them for the last 3 years! I know that's pathetic, but it involves two of my favorite things: TV and List Making.

Thank God for my wonderful husband for taking on blog duties. He's pretty awesome (just ask him; he'll tell you the same thing).

There are some very sad areas of life right now, while there are definitely happy and exciting ones as well.

For now, since I have some time to post (in class, of course), enjoy some pictures from the last month (or two).

Well, the wifi here at school is too slow to upload pictures, so they will have to wait. Dale got up some newfangled SD Cards that upload via wifi right from our cameras to Flickr!!!!!

The Cutest Gator (in the whole wide room)

Just a quick picture - it's Brynnie eating waffles in her awesome Gator shirt that her Aunt Lauren gave her. And yes - she does eat more than just waffles - but it's one of the only thing she eats by herself so I can take pictures.

Such a big girl

We've given Bryn a sippy cup for a couple of months now, but usually it just ended up getting chewed on and juice wound up all over her shirt and the floor.

Until this weekend, when she began realizing how it works, and how to tip it back. Yesterday she even managed to drink almost the entire thing with barely a drop on her clothes.

Caveat - it's not a real sippy cup, more like a bottle/sippy cup hybrid. But don't tell her that, okay?

Here's some proof (and yeah - it's an orange and blue sippy cup):

Thank you Dad!

I just want to thank my Dad for all of his hard work improving our house.

The latest project is installing built in shelving. We started with some Ikea Kilby shelves (basic doesn't even begin to describe them), and planned on simply painting them white and putting some molding on them. But as projects normally do - it took on a life of it's own. Thankfully I've got the handiest parents on the planet who have a knack of making impossible projects seem easy.

It's mid-construction, but even in it's current incomplete state the shelves look awesome. When we're finished I'll post some before and after pictures.

Thanks again Dad! Words can't express our appreciation.

Get that camera out of my face

Actually - it's more like, "ooooh a shiny electronic device, I bet chewing on it would make my teeth feel better." But I prefer to think of it as her practicing swatting cameras away since she's inevitably going to be famous someday.

This part of the morning is truly the highlight of my day. I feel really blessed to get to wake up to the cutest smiling face in the world. It's like having our own one person fan club - a la Mel from Flight of the Conchords. Here's an example:

(pardon the snot under my nose please - my parents are too afraid to clean it for fear of being hit by my flailing arms)

Good Morning!

I've been taking a lot of pictures of Bryn every morning, and thanks to the new Eye-Fi card that I bought they automatically upload to Flickr - so they're easy to share with everyone when I get to work (no middleman computer required).

This is from yesterday, look at that grin. I really wonder what dangerous object she's thinking about grabbing. Usually she'd be moving left or right in an attempt to peer around me to see the TV, but I forgot to turn it on.

A girl and her dog and her waffle

Okay - so Lisa's been a bit busy so I've decided to help her keep the blog up to date (reluctantly I might add as I'm ridiculously paranoid about privacy).

So here's my first post. And I'm sure you're going to love it because it's a baby and a dog in the same picture, which should be enough to make anyone smile. Of course - Brynnie's not smiling because Jack likely stole a piece of her waffle.

Finally a New Post!

Okay, this past month has been exhausting to say the least. Everything good, but exhausting nonetheless.

Miss Brynnie is perfect, as usual. She's still cruising and I don't see her walking any time in the near future, which is fine by us.

A big step happened with Miss Brynnie too. We put her in daycare a few days a week! After multiple attempts at having her with us during church service, she has grown up too much to sit still for an hour. Much to our chagrin, I put her in the children's ministries there. I thought I was going to have a heart attack b/c Bryn has never been left with anyone but family.

Well, I sit through the service, paying NO attention to the message and make a mad dash to go pick up my baby. My sweet baby that was playing with all the other kids and laughing and giggling. So, although it was insanely traumatic for me, it was wonderful for the Brynness.

We found a day care 3 minutes and 39 seconds away from our house (I know this b/c I called Dale as I was leaving and ended the call when I got home).

I cannot express how much she loves it! I mean, LOVES IT! We still have Cindy a couple of days a week (or whenever she wants, more like needs, to get her Brynnie fix).

I must got now, but pictures will be coming soon. Promise!

Oh yeah, and I started law school 3 weeks ago.

Sleepover!

My parents got season tickets to the Rays again and gave them to Ann and Gary for a game. Only one problem: they couldn't find a sitter.

Well, Dale and I are the first to admit, we can't handle the Wilson boys (we're wimps), but we invited Mercer to come to our house for a sleepover.

It was a big hit! Mercer was a doll, like usual.

I ended up having to take her home at 10:30, though. Why, you ask? Not because she wanted to go, but because I wanted to go to sleep and this kid wasn't even yawning. Basically, I'm a wuss.

Playing with Bryn's cart that Dale's boss gave us. It's awesome!

The latest in designer eye wear: spoon goggles.

Awe.

Heated political debate.

I finally got around to giving Mercer her birthday present (which was in March). It's a grocery cart with groceries and money. Well, I come out of putting Bryn down and she has EVERYTHING in it. Her blanket, stuffed animals, etc. She was walking around the room picking things up and putting them in there that weren't even hers. She looked like a hobo. The cutest hobo we've ever seen.

This and That

The nightly fight to get the Princess in her jammies.

Look at that mug.

Tippy Toes 24/7.

Give Me Those Glasses!

I know Bryn's adoration for eyeglasses is not exclusive to just her. I'm well aware all babies love glasses. It still cracks me up when she tries to rip them off everyone's faces, especially Dale's.

Hi Daddy!

Inquisitive

Frustrated

I'll take those.
