I've been getting crafty lately. Anything besides studying.

Where to Begin....

Well, a lot has been going on and a lot is going on in the near future (and the latter is the understatement of the year). I mean, I've been so busy I haven't been keeping up with new TV! I didn't even know shows were starting back up again! This is coming from a girl that gets so excited about Fall Premiers that she has made a spreadsheet of them for the last 3 years! I know that's pathetic, but it involves two of my favorite things: TV and List Making.

Thank God for my wonderful husband for taking on blog duties. He's pretty awesome (just ask him; he'll tell you the same thing).

There are some very sad areas of life right now, while there are definitely happy and exciting ones as well.

For now, since I have some time to post (in class, of course), enjoy some pictures from the last month (or two).

Well, the wifi here at school is too slow to upload pictures, so they will have to wait. Dale got up some newfangled SD Cards that upload via wifi right from our cameras to Flickr!!!!!

Just a quick picture - it's Brynnie eating waffles in her awesome Gator shirt that her Aunt Lauren gave her. And yes - she does eat more than just waffles - but it's one of the only thing she eats by herself so I can take pictures.

Such a big girl

We've given Bryn a sippy cup for a couple of months now, but usually it just ended up getting chewed on and juice wound up all over her shirt and the floor.

Until this weekend, when she began realizing how it works, and how to tip it back. Yesterday she even managed to drink almost the entire thing with barely a drop on her clothes.

Caveat - it's not a real sippy cup, more like a bottle/sippy cup hybrid. But don't tell her that, okay?

Thank you Dad!

I just want to thank my Dad for all of his hard work improving our house.

The latest project is installing built in shelving. We started with some Ikea Kilby shelves (basic doesn't even begin to describe them), and planned on simply painting them white and putting some molding on them. But as projects normally do - it took on a life of it's own. Thankfully I've got the handiest parents on the planet who have a knack of making impossible projects seem easy.

It's mid-construction, but even in it's current incomplete state the shelves look awesome. When we're finished I'll post some before and after pictures.

Thanks again Dad! Words can't express our appreciation.

Get that camera out of my face

Actually - it's more like, "ooooh a shiny electronic device, I bet chewing on it would make my teeth feel better." But I prefer to think of it as her practicing swatting cameras away since she's inevitably going to be famous someday.


This part of the morning is truly the highlight of my day. I feel really blessed to get to wake up to the cutest smiling face in the world. It's like having our own one person fan club - a la Mel from Flight of the Conchords. Here's an example:

Good Morning!

I've been taking a lot of pictures of Bryn every morning, and thanks to the new Eye-Fi card that I bought they automatically upload to Flickr - so they're easy to share with everyone when I get to work (no middleman computer required).

This is from yesterday, look at that grin. I really wonder what dangerous object she's thinking about grabbing. Usually she'd be moving left or right in an attempt to peer around me to see the TV, but I forgot to turn it on.

Okay - so Lisa's been a bit busy so I've decided to help her keep the blog up to date (reluctantly I might add as I'm ridiculously paranoid about privacy).

So here's my first post. And I'm sure you're going to love it because it's a baby and a dog in the same picture, which should be enough to make anyone smile. Of course - Brynnie's not smiling because Jack likely stole a piece of her waffle.

Finally a New Post!

Okay, this past month has been exhausting to say the least. Everything good, but exhausting nonetheless.

Miss Brynnie is perfect, as usual. She's still cruising and I don't see her walking any time in the near future, which is fine by us.

A big step happened with Miss Brynnie too. We put her in daycare a few days a week! After multiple attempts at having her with us during church service, she has grown up too much to sit still for an hour. Much to our chagrin, I put her in the children's ministries there. I thought I was going to have a heart attack b/c Bryn has never been left with anyone but family.

Well, I sit through the service, paying NO attention to the message and make a mad dash to go pick up my baby. My sweet baby that was playing with all the other kids and laughing and giggling. So, although it was insanely traumatic for me, it was wonderful for the Brynness.

We found a day care 3 minutes and 39 seconds away from our house (I know this b/c I called Dale as I was leaving and ended the call when I got home).

I cannot express how much she loves it! I mean, LOVES IT! We still have Cindy a couple of days a week (or whenever she wants, more like needs, to get her Brynnie fix).

I must got now, but pictures will be coming soon. Promise!

Oh yeah, and I started law school 3 weeks ago.
